F.No. 1/9/2008-E.I(B) : Preliminary Examiniation of the civil services examination for recruitment to the Services and Posts mentioned below will be held by the Union Public Service Commision on 17th May , 2009 in accordance with rules published by the Department of Personal & Training in the Gazette of India Extraordinary dated 6th December , 2008.

The number of vacancies to be filled on the results of the examination is expected to be approximately 580. The number of vacancies is liable to alteration.

This is Naina working in a software company, i want to give Civil Services examination. I am a graduate in Information Technology.

please let me know which subject i should opt for.

i applied for prelims 2009,but did not receive the admission card.the upsc website gives that the application is in process.the phone lines of the commission are forever engage.what should i do?
