Uttarakhand Public Service Commission

Applications are invited by Uttarakhand Public Service Commission for Uttarakhand Combined State Civil/ Subordinate Service (Pre) Exam on 9th March, 2008 at select exam centres.

There are 80 vacancies. The details are like this :

2. Dy. Superintendent of Police : 02 posts (UR)

4. District Commandant Home Guards : 05 posts (UR-2,SC-2,OBC-1)

5. District Panchayat Raj Officer : 01 post (SC)

6. Assistant Director Industry : 16 posts (UR-10,SC-4,OBC-2)

Age : 21-35 years as on 01/07/2007. Relaxation as per Uttarakhand Government orders.

Application Fee :
(i) For Pre Exam : Rs.160/- (Rs.70/- for SC/ST/PH of Uttarakhand) as Fee will be collected as the cost of OMR Forms.
(ii) For Main Exam : Rs.250/- (Rs.100/- for SC/ST of Uttarakhand, Rs.150/- for OBC/ dependents of Freedom Fighters)

Application Forms :
At this time, applications are invited only for Preliminary exam. Applications for Main exam will be called separately from the successful candidates.

Procedure to Apply :
OMR form for Pre Exam along with instructions will be available from the Main post offices/ Sub Post Offices in the Districts of Uttarakhand from 05/12/2007 to 28/12/20007 with the above mentioned fees.

Application forms, completed in all respect with selected papers for the Prelim exam should be send to Secretary, Uttarakhand Public Service Commission, Gurukul Kangri, Haridwar by Registered Post/ Speed Post/ Courier/ In Person on or before 28 Dec 2007.
