Query: Educational Clarification regarding Civils exam

I would like to know one thing from you that "Will UPSC staff search only for a graduate who has completed their graduation in a well known university?". I came from a college that it is an affliated to an university. I have arised this doubt because while I have seen the profiles of IAS toppers. Could you please let me know about this.

Dear Candidate,
To qualify IAS exam , candidate should graduate in any subject from recognized university or college by UGC. This exam don't demand that candidate should graduate from a well known university. you should concentrate on your preparation.
