UPSC, the highest body of the prestigious competitive examination is in controversy over implementation of C-SAT exam pattern in recruitment of Civil Servants in India. Since its inception in 2011, the new pattern of IAS preliminary exam has been opposed with the Hindi medium students claiming that this will lead to biased results and would benefit aspirants coming from English medium schooling.

After the implementation of new pattern, IAS aspirants belonging to Non-English language background have been affected largely. Data shows that the students with Science and English background have gained an upper hand over students with non-science background like humanities or those who hail from rural areas.

Watch Sarokaar with eminent panellists discussing the plight of aspirants facing problems due to the present examination structure in the run-up to the post of highest public services.
