Full time Free of cost Training Programme for UPSC Civil Services Examination (IAS/IPS etc.) (72 candidates - 36 General + 12 SC + 12 ST+ 12 SEBC) will start from September 2010 at SPIPA.. Procedure for admission will be as follows:-

1. Candidate must be a Citizen of India.
(a) AGE LIMIT : As on 1/ 8 / 2011 General 21 to 30 Yrs., SC / ST 21 to 35 Yrs., SEBC 21 to 33 Yrs.
(b) Educational Qualification : Graduate from any recognised University / Deemed University established under Act of the Central Government or State Government.
(c) Entrance Test will be taken in three stages. The medium of examination shall be Gujarati and English.

• Date: 1/8/2010 : Time : 12:00 to 14:00 : Subject : General Studies : 150 Marks
• Date: 1/8/2010 : Time : 15:00 to 16:00 : Subject : English : 50 Marks

Place : Ahmedabad (Detailed centre will be informed with Call letter ) Wrong answer or more than one answer in one question will carry 33% negative marking in G.S. and English paper.

Stage- II & III Essay & Personal Interview

On the basis of the performance in General Studies Test and English Test as per category wise merit, 2.5 times of approved strength (72 seats) candidates will be called for Essay Test (100 Marks) & Personal Interview (50 Marks). Final selection will be made from marks obtained out of total 350 Marks on category wise merit basis.

(d) Exam Fee :- SC/ST/SEBC Rs. 50/- , General Candidates Rs. 100/-Crossed Postal Order / DD in favour of “Deputy Director, Account , SPIPA, Ahmedabad

(e) Eligibility :- Candidates whose mother tongue is Gujarati or who have passed their secondary or Higher Secondary examination from Gujarat or who have obtained graduation degree from Gujarat or those who are staying in Gujarat continuously for five years before 1st August 2010 and are settled in Gujarat shall be eligible to appear in the entrance test of the coaching class.

2. For Application : Application form as per format must reach SPIPA through post or in person from 14-6-2010 to 30-6-2010. Candidates sending their applications by post must attach Self addressed Rs. 5/- stamped envelope. Application will also be accepted in person during 10.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. at SPIPA except Sunday and Public Holiday. Candidates should enclose caste certificate (For SC/ST/OBC) / DD/PO with application. If any of these documents is not attached with application, the form will not be entertained.
