Recruitment of Inspector, Assistant Sub-Inspector & Constable Posts - 2013

Applications for the following posts are invited from Indian nationals. The category wise break-up of vacancies, pay scales and eligibility conditions are mentioned below.

Inspector (Computer):

  • Number of Posts : 01

  • Pay Scale : PB-2 Rs. 9300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs. 4600/-

  • Age : Not exceeding 32 years as on 01.01.2013. Upto 37 years for Govt. Servants. For Ex-servicemen, as per orders/instructions issued by the Central Government from time to time.

  • Educational Qualification :
    a) Master’s Degree in Computer Application/ Computer Science from a recognized University or equivalent
    b) M. Tech (with specialization in Computer Application) from a recognized University or equivalent.
    c) B.E./B. Tech in Computer Engineering/Computer Science/Computer Technology from a recognized University or equivalent.

Sub-Inspector (Computer):

  • Number of Posts : 03

  • Pay Scale : PB-2 Rs. 9300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs. 4600/-

  • Age : Not exceeding 32 years as on 01.01.2013. Upto 37 years for SC candidates.

  • Educational Qualification :
    a) Degree in Computer Applications/ Computer Science from a recognized University or equivalent.
    b) 01 year experience in Electronic Data Processing Work including experience of actual programming.

Asstt. Sub-Inspector (Radio Technician) :

  • Number of Posts : 41

  • Pay Scale : PB-2 Rs. 9300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs. 4600/-

  • Age : 20 to 27 years as on 01.01.2013 relaxable by 3 years for OBC, 5 years for SC/ST, Upto 35 years (38 years for OBC, 40 years for SC/ST) for widows/divorced women and women judicially separated from their husbands and who are not re-married. Upto 30 years (33 for OBC, 35 for SC/ST) for departmental candidates of Delhi Police. Ex-Servicemen as per rules.

  • Educational Qualification :
    a) Matriculation with Science and Mathematics from a recognized Board or its equivalent.
    b) Three years diploma in Electronics/Communication from a recognized Institute.
    c) Experience of one year in the repair and maintenance of wireless, telephone and other telecommunication equipments from a Government Department/Public Sector Undertaking/reputed communication organization.
