The Punjab Civil Service (Executive) examination is set to make a comeback after 12 long years with Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) deciding to conduct the test on December 19 this year.

Highly placed sources said the PPSC on Tuesday decided to conduct the examination on December 19 this year and admit cards will be sent to eligible candidates within a week.

The examination was initially slated for July 2009, and then the date was tentatively postponed to November 28 this year. However, sources said, in Tuesday’s meeting it was decided that the exam would not be deferred again.
