(Success Story) Puja Thakur, First Girl From Dantewada Cleared UPSC Exam
Puja
Thakur etched her name in history by becoming the first girl from Dantewada to
clear UPSC.
She is one of the few students who have made it to the civil service from
Dantewada.
Daughter of a lawyer, Puja always wanted to be an IAS officer.
She studied in Saraswati Shishu Mandir, Dantewada and later did her 12th from
Saraswati Shishu Mandir, Bilaspur. She did BE in Information Technology from
Government Engineering College, Raipur.
She could not clear the written exam in the first attempt. Although, she cleared
the written exam in the second and the third attempt, but, she could not clear
her interview.
