  • Challenge from militias.

  • Political problems with severely divided society.

  • Non-participation of major ethic groups in Libya.

  • No attempt from NATO to intervene.

Question :  What are the problems with respect to trials in Libya?

Answer :

  • Libya’s judicial system is not currently fit for such trials.

  • Would reveal the western involvement during Gaddati regime.
