Applications are invited from unmarried Indian citizens for Short Service Commission (SSC) as PILOT/OBSERVER in the Executive Branch of the Indian Navy for Course commencing Jan 2012 at the Indian Naval Academy Ezhimala, Kerala

ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS

• Age. Limit: 19 to 23 years born between 02 Jan 1989 and 01 Jan 1993; both dates inclusive.
• Educational Qualifications: A graduate degree in any discipline with minimum 60% marks. Should have qualified Mathematics & Physics at 10+2 level.

The gender requirement is as follows:

Physical Standards:

• Height and Weight. Minimum height for men162.5 cms and for women 152 cm with correlated weight, leg length, sitting height and thigh length.
• Eye Sight. The minimum acceptable vision standard for distant vision 6/6, 6/9 correctable to 6/6, 6/6. Should not be colour/night blind.

How To Apply:

• Candidates have the option of submitting application in 'physical format' or e-application' (Online) for this entry. Candidates can only apply in one of the aforementioned formats. Receipt of multiple applications from the same candidate will result in cancellation of his candidature. The candidates desirous of applying online (e-application) can do so from 05 Apr 11 The online application registration will cease on 20 Apr 11.
• Physical Application (by Post): Application Forms in accordance with the prescribed format (given on website www.nausena-bharti.nic.in) and complete in all respects with superscription on the envelope “APPLICATION FOR SSC PILOT/OBSERVER # - JAN 2012 COURSE Qualification........ Percentage........% are to be sent to the address given below by 29 Apr 2011.

Online (e-application):

 Whilst filling up the e-application, it is advisible to keep the relevant documents readily available to enable the following:-

• Correct filling up of personal particulars. Details are to be filled up as given in the Matriculation Certificate.
• Fields such as e-mail address, mobile number are mandatory fields and need to be filled.

Filling up of e-application:

For filling up application Online visit our website and proceed as follows:-

• Click on the "Officer Entry" button under the option 'Apply Online' on the Home Page.
• Fill the online registration form for Pilot/Observer Entry. Tips to assist in filling up fields have been provided as you highlight each field.
• Before clicking the Submit button it should be checked whether all the details entered in the form are correct as you will not be able to make any corrections after saving the record.
• After submitting the form, a 'Roll Number' will be generated by the system and displayed on the screen. This Roll Number will automatically appear on the printout of the form. If the system does not generate the Roll Number, it is an indication of non-acceptance of Application by the system.
• Print two copies of this Application Form having the system generated Roll Number. One copy of this Applicaiton Form is to be duly signed and mailed (posted) to Post Box No. 02, Sarojini Nagar, New Delhi 110 023 long with the following documents:- Self attested photograph, Attested photo copies of 10th & 12th class certificates along with Mark Sheets, other educational certificates and mark sheets of all semesters/years.
• A superscription is to be made on envelope : "ONLINE ROLL NO. ___ APPLICATION FOR SSC PILOT/OBSERVER ## - JAN 2012 COURSE" Qualification ___ Percentage _____%. Application and requisite enclosures must be properly tagged/stapled, IHQ MoD(Navy) will not be responsible for loss of enclosures, if sent loose.
