Exemption from attending Foundation Course for those appearing for CSE (Mains) 2009

The Candidates who have cleared the Civil Services Exam, 2008 had been asked to report for the foundation Course beginning at various Academies from 1.9.2009. Of these such candidates who are appearing for CSE (Main) Exam, 2009 have been granted exemption from participation in the Foundation Course being held at LBSNAA, Mussoorie, Dr. MCR HRD Institute of Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad and RCVP Noronha Academy of Administration, Bhopal. This decision has been taken in view of representations received from candidates.

Candidates as stated above are allowed to stay back from the Foundation Course on the strength of the Notice put out by DoPT (also on its website www.persmin.nic.in) today in this regard. The candidate who thus chooses to stay back may write to DoPT seeking formal exemption, stating his/her Roll No., Rank and Service allotted. Those candidates who are already in transit can report to the respective Academy, who have been directed to allow such candidates to go back.
