"Bharat ek Khoj" is pretty good thing but the series lacks a bit on detailed study. Again it was book which was written by Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru & it remains essentially his views on history at large.

My personal suggestion would be that if someone is totally oblivious to Subject "History" then he/she can watch this series as a Nice movie so as to invoke some passion n excitement,to make the further detailed study bit interesting n exciting.Because it has been seen that History proves to be a very Boring subject especially for those who don't have History background.Until & unless one has certain amount of passion towards this particular subject its difficult to master. Many things n events are interrelated & cause n effect relations are there.

Major thing...The series of Discovery of Indian is lying with Doordarshan in archives...They are charging some exorbitant price ,no one else has those Videos..
