General Queries for Civil Services Entrance Exam

Dear Aspirants ,
Hope all of u doing very well .This mail is to all those new aspirants .

The aspirants to civil service examinations comprises of very good intellectuals such as engineering graduates , MBA professionals , doctors having mbbs degree, law graduates and basic art and science graduates .

Plz posting any questions in UPSC and to me , just analyze what u want to ask ..be very specific .... plz do not ask anything vague and a mere questions of childish nature .
Some of these questions which are asked frequently:

1) Plz help me in how to prepare for the exam .
Ans: Civil service is a very different exam ......plz do not compare it with any other exam .U might have qualified engg entrance and medical entrance easily ..but here the scenario is completely different .
U very well know that hard work ,specific strategy ,and dedicated tireless efforts is required ... so asking this questions is completely vague .

2) Selecting optionals .
Selection of optional is a individual issue ....a biology graduate person cannot study maths and a maths student cannot study biology ...so plz u have to decide ....have u asked urself the same questions after class 10 ..to choose maths ,biology, commerce or arts . Same is the case here ..plz think about ur class 10th situation .

3) Every body on this portal ask for a list of books for optionals .
plz go through carefully upsc portal site .
everything is provided there .(SYALLABUS ,LIST OF BOOKS ,EXAM NOTIFICATIONS ,CURRENT NEWS .)

4) One thing remember aspirants ....there is no exam strategy...u have to make ur own strategy ,planning , everybody has a different life style ..when lifestyle is different ..how can we have same strategy ..if someone says ..study 24 hours ......can it is possible in this earth ...only an absurd can say so ....hence ..judge urself ,decide judicially ...ur time. Manage urself .U are going to decide ur future ..no one else will not decide ur future ......

5) Lastly, Have a proud feeling that u r competing for an exam which is not only an exam but a challenge to do something for the country ...... so be brave ,and
