Applications (ORA*) from desirous and eligible candidates for various posts in
various Departments of Himachal Pradesh Government up to 1st October, 2012 till
11.59 P.M. after which the link will be disabled.

its equivalent from an Institution / University duly recognized by the Central /

- Recognized Medical qualification included in the first or second

fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the
Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.

- A good academic record with at least 55% marks or an equivalent of 55%,

Drawing & Painting and Sculpture, Master Degree in Fine Arts having good
academic record with 55% marks or equivalent of 55% wherever grading system
- A relaxation of 5% is provided from 55% to 50% marks, at the Masters
Degree for the SC/ST categories.
- A relaxation of 5% (from 55% to 50%) of marks, at the Master’s level to
the Physically and Visually Handicapped persons in appointment as Assistant
- A relaxation of 5% is provided from 55% to 50% of the marks to the Ph.D.
Degree holders, who have passed their Masters degree prior to September,
- “B” in the 7 point scale with letter grades O,A, B, C, D, E & F shall be
regarded as equivalent of 55% wherever the grading system is followed

- Candidate besides fulfilling the above qualifications should have
cleared the eligibility test (NET) for Assistant Professor conducted by UGC,
CSIR or similar test accredited by State Public Service Commission.
- “NET/SLET shall remain the minimum eligibility condition for recruitment
and appointment of Assistant Professor in Universities / Colleges /
Institutions. Provided, however, that candidates, who are or have been
awarded Ph.D degree in compliance of the “University Grant Commission
(minimum standards and procedure for award of Ph.D Degree), regulation 2009,
shall be exempted from the requirement of minimum eligibility condition of
NET/SLET for appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in
University / Colleges / Institutions.”

Education Qualification: Graduate with at least 5 years experience in
the field of procurement, distribution, personnel matters and maintenance of
accounts of commercial concern or MBA with at least two years experience in

qualification of MCA/BIT Computer.

of the Commission, i.e. www.hp.gov.in/hppsc and its Transaction No.,
Branch Code and date of Receipt are required to be updated before the last date
in the same Login ID in the Fee Details link. Before applying online, all

the candidates are required to take a printout of the finally submitted

documents / certificates in support of their eligibility to the Commission
on the day of Screening Test for the concerned post.
