Applications are invited by the Commission for the below mentioned posts. The last date for receipt of applications in the office of the Commission is 04.07.2013. Casa J.D. Fernandes Stationery Supplier, Printers & Book Binders, Opposite Municipal Garden, Panaji, are authorized to sell the prescribed application form @ Rs. 20/- per set. The Commission does not take the responsibility of supplying application forms by post.For detailed information, please see the instructions supplied with the application form. Candidate can also download and use the application form available at GPSC website.

Incomplete applications in any manner are liable to be rejected summarily by the Commission.

In case of non-availability of suitable candidates with the knowledge of Konkani, for the posts in professional colleges, Consultants in Directorate of Health Services and highly technical/scientific posts, this requirement
can be relaxed.

The Commission will draw a panel of candidates, which will remain valid for a period of one year.

Prescribed EQs are minimum & mere possession of same does not entitle the candidates to be called for interview. Where number of applications received is large,the Commission will short list the candidates to be
called for interview.

Assistant Professor in Neurology

Scale of Pay: Rs.15,600-39,100+6,600/-

Age: Not exceeding 45 years

Education Qualification :

  • A recognised medical qualification included in the First or the Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (Act No. 102 of 1956). Holders of qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfil the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (Act No. 102 of 1956).
  • Post graduate degree or equivalent in the concerned super-speciality or equivalent.
  • At least one year teaching and/or research experience in a recognised Medical College/Teaching Institution in the subject of super-speciality after obtaining the qualifying degree of Doctorate of Medicine (D.M
    .)/Master of Chirurgiae (M.Ch.).
  • Knowledge of Konkani.

Assistant Lecturers

Scale of Pay: Rs.15,600-39,100+5,400/-

Age: Not exceeding 42 years

Education Qualification:

  • A recognised Medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub- section(3) of Section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
  • Knowledge of Konkani.

Senior Ophthalmic Surgeon

Scale of Pay: Rs.15,600-39,100+6,600/-

Age: Not exceeding 42 years.

Educational Qualifications:-

  • A recognised Medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. (102 of 1956). Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in Sub-section (3) of Section 13 of the said Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
  • Post Graduate Degree, failing which post-graduate diploma, in speciality concerned.
  • Work in a responsible position connected with the speciality concerned for 3 years after post-graduation Degree or five years after post-graduation Diploma.
  • Knowledge of Konkani.

Junior Surgeon

Scale of Pay: Rs.15,600-39,100+5,400/-

Age: Not exceeding 42 years

Educational Qualifications:

  • A recognised Medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. (102 of 1956) Hol
    ders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the said Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
  • Post-graduate degree, failing which post-graduate diploma, in the speciality concerned.
  • In case of Diploma holders, work in responsible position connected with the speciality concerned for 2 years after post graduation Diploma.
  • Knowledge of Konkani.

Public Health Dentist

Scale of Pay: Rs.15,600-39,100+5,400/-

Age: Not exceeding 42 years

Educational Qualifications:-

  • A degree qualification included in Part I or Part II of the schedule to the Dentist Act, 1948 (16 of 1948).
  • Knowledge of Konkani.
