Associate Professor in Neuro-Surgery

Salary : Rs.15,600-39,100+6,600/-

Education Qualification :

A recognised medical qualification included in the First or the Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (Act No. 102 of 1956). Holders of qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfil the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (Act No. 102 of 1956).
Post graduate degree or equivalent in the concerned super-speciality or equivalent.
At least four years teaching/research experience in a recognized Medical College/Teaching Institution after obtaining the qualifying degree of Doctorate of Medicine (D.M.)/Master of Chirurgiae (M.Ch.). (iv) Knowledge of Konkani.

Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.

Lecturers

Salary : Rs.15,600-39,100+6,600/-

Education Qualification :

A recognised Medical qualification included in the First or the Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in Section 13 (3) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
Post Graduate degree qualification in the speciality concerned or equivalent.
At least 3 years teaching experience in the concerned speciality as Senior Resident/Registrar/Tutor/Demonstrator in a Medical College/Teaching Institution.
Knowledge of Konkani.

Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.

Professors

Salary : Rs.37400-67000+10000/-

Education Qualification :

Ph.D. Degree or equivalent, from a recognized University in appropriate discipline. (Persons guiding Ph.D. students and having Post Ph.D Publications is highly desirable).
B.E./B.Tech. and M.E./M.Tech. in relevant branch from a recognized University with First Class or equivalent either in B.E./B.Tech. or M.E./M.Tech.
Minimum 10 years experience in teaching/research/industry out of which at least 5 years shall be at the level of Associate Professor Or (iii) Minimum 13 years experience in teaching and/or research and/or industry.
Knowledge of Konkani.

Associate Professors

Salary : Rs.37400-67000+9000/-

Education Qualification:

Ph.D. or equivalent, from a recognized University in appropriate discipline. (Persons guiding Ph.D. students and having Post Ph.D Publications is highly desirable).
B.E./B.Tech. and M.E./M.Tech. in relevant branch from a recognized University with First Class or equivalent either in B.E./B.Tech. or M.E./M.Tech.
Minimum 5 years experience in Teaching/Research/Industry out of which 2 years Post Ph.D experience is desirable.
Knowledge of Konkani.

Desirable : Knowledge of Marathi.

Assistant Professors:

Salary : Rs.15600-39100+6000/-

Education Qualification:

B.E./B.Tech. and M.E./M.Tech. in relevant branch from a recognized University with First Class or equivalent either in B.E./B.Tech.or M.E./M.Tech.
Knowledge of Konkani.

Assistant Professor in Science and Humanities

Salary : Rs.15600-39100+6000/-

Education Qualification:

Good academic record with First Class at M.Sc. level for Lecturer in Science or at M.A. level for Lecturer in Humanities.Requirement of National Eligibility Test may be relaxed for candidates having first class at Master’s level. Or (i) Good academic record with at least 55% marks or an equivalent Cumulative Grade Point Average at the Master’s Degree level in the relevant subject from an Indian University or an equivalent Degree from a Foreign University and candidates should have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) for Assistant Professors conducted by the University Grants Commission, Council for Scientific and Industrial Research, or similar test accredited by the University Grants Commission
Knowledge of Konkani.

Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.

Archivist (Management)

Salary : Rs.9,300-34,800+4,600/-

Education Qualification :

Master’s degree in Indian History/Political Science of a recognized university or equivalent.
3 years experience in research/ teaching in Modern Indian History/work in an Archival Office.
Degree in Portuguese or Curso Complementar in Art/Science from Lyceum or Degree of a recognized university or equivalent with Portuguese as Principal or subsidiary subject.
Knowledge of Konkani.

Desirable:

Knowledge of Archival Science.
Knowledge of Portuguese Palaeography, Typography and Proof Reading.
Knowledge of Marathi (Modi script).
