(NEWS) Demand to raise age limit for civil services exams by “Akhil Bharatiya Civil Seva Nyaya Morcha” Some civil services aspirants under the aegis of “Akhil Bharatiya Civil Seva Nyaya Morcha” have in a memorandum to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi drawn his attention to their various demands, including increasing the age limit for appearing in the prestigious civil services examinations from 30 to 35. Apart from increasing the age limit, the Morcha also demanded that there be no restriction on the number of attempts. Further, if such demands could not be met immediately, the aspirants should at least be given one more chance in the 150th year of India’s freedom struggle. Morcha’s national coordinator Ashish Dayal said most of the rules and regulations controlling the civil services examinations dated back to the colonial period. He added that aspirants coming from the rural areas often begin their education late and, hence, they should be given the concession in age limit. Courtesy: THE HINDU

I don't understand why media addresses such absurd news in their forum. Such ridiculous and absurd demand should be outrightly rejected.
