(News) Haryana CSE changes Prelims pattern based on UPSC CSAT

Prelims adopted in Haryana CSE on UPSC pattern

Haryana Cabinet under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar approved a proposal to adopt a prelims pattern similar to UPSC for the state civil services examination.

Now there would be a Civil Services Aptitude Test of 100 marks in the form of Paper-II.

Both the question papers will be of objective type and would be in English and Hindi. Each paper will be of two-hour duration.

For each wrong answer, one-fourth (0.25) marks will be deducted. It also decided to do away with the provision of making special recruitment to the HCS (Executive Branch) because it has "always been a matter of litigation,".
