Applications are invited on plain paper giving detailed bio-data for one post of “Junior Research Fellow/Project Fellow” in Rajiv Gandhi Science & Technology Commission, Govt. of Maharashtra sponsored research project entitled “Digitized Inventory of Medicinal Plant Resources of Maharashtra” sanctioned jointly to Mr. K. S. Vishwakarma & Prof. V. L. Maheshwari, School of Life Sciences, North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon and Dr. B. M. Patil.

Qualification
- The minimum qualification for the post is M. Sc. (Botany/any branch of life sciences preferably with specialization in plant taxonomy) degree with minimum 55 % marks.
Pay Scale
The emoluments for the said posts are Rs. 12000/- p. m. plus H.R.A. as per University rules for CSIR-UGC JRF-NET qualified candidates. In case of the nonavailability of NET qualified candidate, non NET candidate s) will also be considered for the post of Project Fellow on a fix salary of Rs. 11000/- p. m.The post is purely temporary and the selected candidates will be appointed for the duration of the project (i.e. up to March, 2013).

Suitable interested candidates fulfilling minimum qualifications are requested to appear for walk – in interview along with relevant documents on 11/04/2011, at 11.30 a.m. at the office of the Director, School of Life Sciences, North Maharashtra University, and Jalgaon.
