SELECTION PROCEDURE
For Post Codes 01, 02 and 03 Selection will be through Written Test and Interview and for the post code 04 (Clerk) the selection will be through Written Test and/or Interview. Merely satisfying the eligibility n orms would not entitle a candidate to be called for Test or Interview. The Bank may call only the requisite number of candidates after preliminary screening/short-listing with reference to the candidates’ qualifications, suitability, experience etc.

The Written Test for the post codes 01, 02 & 03 will be held on Sunday, 4th April 2010 at Delhi, Chennai, Mumbai & Kolkata centres only.

The written test for the post codes 01, 02 & 03 will be Objective type. The questions will be printed in bilingual i.e. English and Hindi except for the Test of English. The written test will include Objective Tests of Professional Knowledge, Reasoning, English & Quantitative Aptitude.

The Written Test for the post of clerks will be held on Sunday, 4th April 2010 at the centres mentioned at point No. 9
The Written Test for the post of clerk will be Objective and Descriptive type. The questions in objective test Paper will be printed in bilingual, i.e. English and Hindi except for the Test of English. The written test will include Objective Tests of Reasoning, English, Quantitative Aptitude, Marketing & Computer and Descriptive Test in English Composition.

- Bank, however, reserves the right to cancel any of the above mentioned Centres and/ or add some other Centres, depending upon the response of the candidates, administrative feasibility, etc.

- The Candidates will have to appear for the written examination at the allotted Centre for the State for which he/she has applied at their own expenses and risks and the Bank will not be responsible for any injury or losses etc. of any nature. No request for change of centre will be entertained.

- The date of the test is tentative. The exact date will be communicated to the candidates through the call letters for the examination. The Bank reserves
