Test will consist of five subjects in which objective type questions will be asked. In general, Bank Clerk Examination consists of four subjects, namely, Test of Reasoning, Numerical Ability, Test of English Language and Clerical Aptitude. But in the scheme of examination prescribed by the State Bank of India there will be six Tests – General Awareness, Reasoning Ability , Quantitative Aptitude, General English and Computer /Marketing , General English is a compulsory subject. 

It is to be it noted that Clerical Aptitude a Compulsory subject of Bank Clerk Exams has been omitted by the State Bank of India.

  • Minimum 12th Standard (10+2) pass or equivalent qualification there of with a minimum 60% marks or A degree from a recognized university with a minimum 40% marks

  • Approximately 200 objective type questions are asked from four Subjects namely Test of Reasoning, Numerical Aptitude, Test of Clerical Aptitude and Test of English Language in almost all other Bank Clerk’s Exams except that of SBI, The second Test is descriptive in nature.

  • On the other hand in the scheme of SBI Clerk Exams held on 10.02.2008 06.01.2008 25.11.2007 and 19.08.2007 there was no mention of Descriptive Test There was provision of Interview after the Written Test (Objective)
