i'm a b.tech in electronics & communication.want to prepere for ias.my first optional paper is geography.i'm confused about the second one.what it would be?what about sociology?please suggest me.please.

Hi friends i've just completed my engg in IT.I am planning to write my prelims in 2007 but I don't find any subject which relates to my background.secondly i dnt think it will be possible to mugup new subjects so i would like to know if there is any optional papers and will it work if i wll chose public administration or management..pls suggest me the rite subject for me..

there is one golden rule: select a subject in which u r not only interested but a subject u can fall in love with, thats the point to be considered. once u start loving something it no longer remains a problem or burden right.

i'm a B.Com graduate. Also completed my C.A (inter). Right now i'm doing C.A. Articleship, LLB, a PG Diploma in Human Rights. I have mastery in commerce subject, but unable to find coaching class or study material for commerce subject in Ahmedabad, as I'm resident of Ahmedabad. I'm also confuse for my second optional.

I finished my 12th and now im waiting for my result. my dream is to
become a civilservant. im from kerala.Now IM in a trouble that which course should i be taken to get a degree.im giving more preference to BCOM than BA.please help me which is better in civilservice exam is it BCOM syllabus or BA

As it is already very late for this year, iam planning to attempt for th UPSC xams next year, can anybody plz let me know, how to start and where to start from, since i have plenty of time, if planned and used properly.. and what subjects i can take..? iam a B.E., in electronics & communication..plz guide me guys..
