Four Junior Technical Officers in the Indian Navy, Integrated Headquarters, Ministry of Defense,. Out of four posts, one post is reserved for Scheduled Castes
candidates and remaining three posts are unreserved. The posts are suitable for Physically Handicapped persons with disability of Orthopaedically Handicapped/ Locomotor disability or Cerebral Palsy with disability of OL (One Leg affected )

Educational Qualification:

A. Educational: Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Telecommunication/Civil/Marine/Naval Architecture/Industrial Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent. B. Experience: Three years’ professional experience in Dockyard/Shipyard in refit of ships/Shop Floor Monitoring/Data Analysis and Programming/Electrical works/Engineering Works/Construction/Installation of Weapon equipment/Civil Engineering Works/Preparation of under water paints/Docking and undocking of Ships/Production, Planning and Control/Sonar/Radio/Radars

Duties:

Evaluation and execution of work pertaining to ships refit modernization, additions and alterations to keep the ships ready for operations. Besides, he will be responsible for preventive maintenance routines, schedules, periodicity and refit planning with reference to capacities of work centres of Dockyard. In addition,
responsible for maintenance and upkeep of dry dock.

Two Photographic Officers (re-designated as Chief Photographer) in Armed Forces Headquarters, Film Photo Division, Ministry of Defence. Out of two posts, one post is reserved for Scheduled Castes candidates and remaining one post is unreserved.

Educational Qualification:

A. Educational : Diploma in Motion Picture Photography (Cinematography) from a recognized Institution or equivalent. B. Experience: Five years’ experience in Photography including experience as a cine cameraman preferably in newsreel or documentary film assignments. Desirable. Experience in production of training/documentary films. ii) Photographic experience connected with Military activities such as exercises, demonstration of military weapons and equipment

Duties :

Cinematography of training films, cine and photographic coverage of military exercises, demonstration etc. Taking of photographs (indoor and outdoors), copying of photographs, maps, documents, chart. Maintenance of equipment on charge. Maintenance of accounts of raw stocks issued. Supervision of processing etc. HQ: Delhi/New Delhi with All India service liability.

Age Limit:

As On Normal Closing Date : 02-06-2011

  • Not exceeding 35 years for the posts at Item No.1

  • Not exceeding 30 years for the posts at Item No. 2

Pay Scale & Classification:

  • Rs.15600-39100+Rs.5400 (Grade pay) (T.E. Rs.31,710) Group ‘A’, Gazetted, Non-Ministerial for the posts at Item No.1,5, 7 & 8 above

  • Rs.9,300-34,800 (PB-2) + Rs.4600 (Grade pay) (T.E. Rs.20,155) Group ‘B’, Gazetted, Non-Ministerial for the posts at Item No.2, 3, & 9.
