(Notification) Jammu and Kashmir PSC: Combined Competitive Examination, 2011

Notification: Application Forms for the Posts Under Combined Competitive Examination, 2011

In continuation of this office Notice dated 01.06.2011, it is hereby reiterated that the Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission shall be issuing a Notification inviting Application on prescribed forms from eligible candidates under Combined Competitive Examination, 2011. The salient features of the Notification shall be as under:-

The Applications shall be invited for Combined Competitive (Preliminary) Examination, 2011.

Date of Commencement of sale/receipt of Application Forms: 25.06.2011
Last Date Of Receipt Of Application Form: 01.08.2011
Date of holding of Preliminary Examination: 25.09.2011
Date of holding of Mains Examination: 15.02.2012

Eligibility Conditions

The candidate must be a permanent resident of the State
He/she must have attained the age of 21 years but has not crossed the age of 35 years (in case of OM candidates) on 1st January, 2011 i.e. a candidate must
have been born not earlier than 01.01.1976 and not later than 01.01.1990 The upper age limit prescribed shall be 37 years.
Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes/ Socially and Educationally Backward Classes;
Candidates holding a civil post in the State in a substantive capacity:
The upper age limit for physically challenged candidates shall be 38 years irrespective of the category to which such a candidate belongs.
He/She must have passed Batchelor’s Degree from a recognized University or must have appeared fully in any examination on or before the last date of
receipt of Application Forms for the Preliminary Examination.

Pay Scale: Rs.9300-34800 PB-2 with grade pay of Rs.4800.

Application Fees

The cost of the Application Form shall be Rupees Eight Hundred Rs. 800/-(inclusive of service charges by the Bank) for Open Category candidates and
Rupees Five hundred and fifty only Rs. 550/- (inclusive of service charges by the Bank) for such of the Applicants who claim to belong to SC, ST, RBA, ALC,
Social Caste (SOC) and physically Challenged (PHC) categories.
