Applications invited for Civil Services coaching

Thiruvananthapuram: Applications have been invited from candidates of Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes and Other Communities for admission to the Institute for Civil Services Examination Training Society under the Department of SC/ST Development, Kerala, for a 15 months free training programme to appear for the civil services examination to be conducted by the UPSC in 2008. Candidates applying for admission to the training society have to take an entrance examination in General Studies, modelled on the UPSC preliminary exam and an English proficiency test modelled on the Civil Services Main examination. Those possessing a degree from a recognised university and aged between 21 and 35 as on August 1, 2008 (Between 21 years and 30 years for Other Communities) are eligible to apply.
