Two candidates from Belgaum district successfully passed UPSC Examination.
Two
candidates from Belgaum district successfully passed Union Public Services
Commission (UPSC) examination.
Maitrey Kulkarni of Tilakwadi and Akash Shankar Chougule of Belagundi passed
with the ranks 103 and 393 respectively.
Maitrey Kulkarni completed his mechanical engineering degree in 2008 from Gogte
Institute of Technology (GIT- Belgaum). His father is the headmaster of a high
school. It was Maitrey's second attempt to the UPSC, as his first attempt in
2008 was unsuccessful.
