IAS Aspirants want to English Paper to be removed from
Around 300 students and teachers of Jawaharlal Nehru
University (JNU) staged a protest outside the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC)
office here Thursday, demanding exclusion of the English language from the civil
service examination syllabus.
The students demanded that the authorities either remove English or include
other foreign languages back to the UPSC examination syllabus.
A delegation lead by teachers of the JNU, Aligarh Muslim university (AMU),
and the JNU Students Union will meet USPC chairman D.P.Agarwal.
