UPSC approves promotion of 32 DANICS officers to the IAS cadre
The UPSC’s DPC (Department Promotion Committee) has sent its recommendation to the MHA (Ministry of Home Affairs) for promotion of 32 DANICS (Delhi Andaman Nicobar Island Civil Services) officers to the IAS cadre.
The officers whose names have been sent for recommendation are all from 1983 to 1986 batches.
Rakesh Bali, former secretary of Ashok Kumar Walia, Minister of Health and Family Welfare, currently posted at the Andaman Islands, FO Hashmi, secretary to Social Welfare Minister Kiran Walia, Manoj Kumar, secretary to Industries Minister Ramakant Goswami, VK Jain, additional secretary, Training and Technical, Government of NCT of Delhi and ZU Siddiqui, Deputy Commissioner (North), Revenue Department, DP Mishra, Deputy Commissioner New Delhi, BP Joshi, Registrar of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Government of NCT of Delhi are some of the officers who are expected to be promoted by November this year.
