Applications are invited through Registered Post for the post of Forest Guard on the prescribed application form, the format of which is given at the end. The candidates are advised to strictly use this format of the application on legal size paper only,failing which, their application can be rejected. The format given at the end should be photocopied (enlarged) on a thick paper. A cut - out from the newspaper shall not be used. The candidate should specify on the top of the envelope “Application for the post of Forest Guard.”

Salary : Rs.5200-20200+ 2000 Grade Pay

Education Qualification:

  • Matriculation or equivalent examination from a recognised State Education Board/University.
  • Hindi up to Matric Standard
  • Minimum physical standards

Age Limit: 17–40 years as on 08.04.2013

Physical Eligibility:

Male:

  • Height 168 cms
  • Chest 79 cms (Un-expanded) 84 cms (Expanded)

Female:

  • Height 155 cms
  • Chest 74 cms (Un-expanded) 79 cms (Expanded)

Walking test of 25 kms for males and 14 kms for females to be completed in 4hours.
