Course material for the Preliminary Exam
As announced - The Civil preliminary exam will now consist of Two papers, i.e. Paper I and Paper II. Both Papers are of the Objective type carrying a maximum of 200 marks and duration of 2 hours each.

Course material for the Main Exam
The course material for General Studies and Optional thoroughly explains the topics in the form of notes and short/long essays. Questions from previous years' CSE papers are indicated under each topic. Further, an assignment is also given in each set. It is essential that students answer these questions on their own . A select Bibliography of additional source materials is given for the students' reference. There are 12 sets of study materials in each subject. Those for Essay and Compulsory English have an approach paper of adequate exercises for improving the art of writing English and model essays. The latest years' CSE question papers with answers are provided as additional guidance for students. One Model Test Paper is also sent as a final boost to the students' preparation.
