Key Budgetary Initiatives for Women Empowerment
(i) Gender Budgeting

Initiated in 2005-06 to guarantee gender-conscious planning and resource distribution across various ministries.

Seeks to incorporate gender viewpoints in budgetary planning and implementation to rectify gender imbalances.
Consists of two segments:

Part A: Programs solely benefiting women, assuring focused support.

(ii) Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP)
