Personality Test Programme

The following Recruitment Results have been finalized by the Union Public Service Commission during the month of JANUARY, 2013. The recommended candidates have been informed individually by post. Applications of other candidates were duly considered but regretted that it has not been possible to call them for interview/recommend them for the post.

EXPORTS (including re-exports)

Exports during January, 2013 were valued at US $ 25587.24 million (Rs. 138981.70 crore) which was 0.82 per cent higher in Dollar terms (6.67 per cent higher in Rupee terms) than the level of US $ 25379.05 million (Rs. 130294.02 crore) during January, 2012. Cumulative value of exports for the period April-January 2012 -13 was US $ 239687.01 million (Rs 1305420.39) as against US $ 251930.14 million (Rs 1196962.33 crore) registering a negative growth of 4.86 per cent in Dollar terms and growth of 9.06 per cent in Rupee terms over the same period last year.

IMPORTS

Imports during January, 2013 were valued at US $ 45583.25 million (Rs.247593.63 crore) representing a growth of 6.12 per cent in Dollar terms and 12.28 per cent in Rupee terms over the level of imports valued at US $ 42952.47 million ( Rs. 220514.54 crore) in January, 2012. Cumulative value of imports for the period April-January, 2012-13 was US $ 406855.13 million (Rs. 2215115.46 crore) as against US $ 406820.28 million (Rs. 1934946.96 crore) registering a positive growth of 0.01 per cent in Dollar terms and growth of 14.48 per cent in Rupee terms over the same period last year.

Shri Amar Pratap Singh, Former Director, CBI took the oath of office and secrecy as Member, Union Public Service Commission today. The oath was administered by Prof.D.P.Agrawal, Hon’ble Chairman, UPSC.

An officer of Indian Police Service of 1974 batch, Shri Amar Pratap Singh held several important positions earlier which include Inspector General (Special Branch & CID), Meghalaya State, Chief Vigilance Officer, Indian Airlines, Officer on Special Duty to the Chief Minister of Jharkhand, Additional Director General (Hqrs), Border Security Force, Special Director, CBI.

INDIAN FOREST SERVICE EXAMINATION, 2012

On the basis of results of the written part of the Indian Forest Service Examination, 2012 held by Union Public Service Commission in July 2012, the candidates with the Roll Numbers given below have qualified for Interview for the Personality Test.  

The candidature of all these candidates is PROVISIONAL subject to their being found eligible in all respects. The candidates would be required to produce the original certificates in support of their claims relating to age, educational qualification, community etc. at the time of the Personality Test. They are, therefore, advised to keep the said certificates ready  with them. In accordance with the Rules of the examination, all these candidates are required to fill up the Detailed Application Form (DAF), which is available on the Commission’s website http://www.upsc.gov.in.
