F.No. 1/9/2008-E.I(B) : Preliminary Examiniation of the civil services examination for recruitment to the Services and Posts mentioned below will be held by the Union Public Service Commision on 17th May , 2009 in accordance with rules published by the Department of Personal & Training in the Gazette of India Extraordinary dated 6th December , 2008.

The number of vacancies to be filled on the results of the examination is expected to be approximately 580. The number of vacancies is liable to alteration.
