ANSWER : Fayol and Taylor have a common goal to achieve i.e. to enhance the efficiency levels of the organizations. Both of them share common principles such as divided and specialized work, responsibilities of managers, unity and direction within the group etc. Taylor principles are concerned with evaluating the performance and getting the work done most efficiently, whereas Fayol principles are concerned with managing problems with top management perspective. Fayol universal principles can be applied to any organization, but Taylor principles are applied only to specialized organizations like production and engineering.
