Bedin 1, Dwarf Spheroidal Galaxy Found

• With the help of the NASA/ESA Hubble Space Telescope, astronomers have found a new dwarf galaxy in our cosmic neighbourhood which has been named as Bedin 1.
• The newly discovered galaxy is approximately 30 million light-years away and is classified as a dwarf spheroidal galaxy as it measures only around 3,000 light-years at its greatest extent and is roughly a thousand times dimmer than our own Milky Way Galaxy.
