KalamSat
- KalamSat is the world's lightest and smallest 3D printed, femto-category sub-orbital satellite.
- It weighs 63.54 grams and fits into a cube of 3.8 cm.
- It was designed for a life span of 240 minutes and spent 12 minutes in microgravity.
- KalamSat demonstrated 3-D printed technology for the first time in its category.
- It was made from reinforced carbon fibre polymer and carried ten sensors.
- KalamSat also carried a biological payload: two seeds (basil and sunflower).
- KalamSat holds records in India Book of Records, Asia Book of Records, URF Book of Records and Assist Book of Records.
