Surface Acoustic Wave
It does not have any layer instead uses a transducer placed along the edge of
the glass that sends an ultrasonic wave across the glass. A receiver on the
other end receives the waves. The two transducers are placed along the X and Y
axis of the screen. When the user touches the screen, it disturbs the waves and
position of the disturbance computed to register the location of the input.
