A Civil Servant should be well-versed in basics of Algebra. In the Civil Services Aptitude Test Paper 2, in Basic Numeracy, certainly there will be asked some questions based on equations and their roots.

The Test will consist of three papers. All the three papers will consist of only objective type questions and will be held on the day of Examination in two separate sessions as under:

Engineering Services Examination, 2012 (Fees)

Candidates (excepting SC/ST/Female/PH who are exempted from payment of fee) are required to pay a fee of Rs.100/-

Engineering Services Examination, 2012 (Eligibility Conditions)

Nationality:

A candidate must be either:

(a) a citizen of India, or

(b) a subject of Nepal, or

(c) a subject of Bhutan, or

(d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before the 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or

Engineering Services Examination, 2012 (CATEGORY)

Recruitment on the Results of this examination will be made to the Services/ Posts under the following categories:-

• Category I—Civil Engineering.
• Category II—Mecahnical Engineering.
• Category III—Electrical Engineering.
