  • The Parv includes the performance of different dances, food court, crafts mela, a photo exhibition by Ministry of information and broadcasting.

:: Project Mausam ::

Project ‘Mausam’ is the initiative of Ministry of Culture to be implemented by the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) as the nodal agency with research support of the Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA) and National Museum as associate bodies. This project aims to explore the multi-faceted Indian Ocean ‘world’ – collating archaeological and historical research in order to document the diversity of cultural, commercial and religious interactions in the Indian Ocean – extending from East Africa, the Arabian Peninsula, the Indian Subcontinent and Sri Lanka to the Southeast Asian archipelago. It also aims to promote research on themes related to the study of Maritime Routes through international scientific seminars and meetings and by adopting a multidisciplinary approach.

The project encourages the production of specialized works, as well as publications for the general public with an attempt at promoting a broader understanding of the concept of a common heritage and multiple identities. An objective of the project is to prepare a dossier for trans-national nomination as World Heritage. The time of commencement and completion of the Project Mausam as per SFC Memorandum is April 2015 and March 2017 respectively. Total cost of the project as per SFC approval is Rs. 150, 244, 502/-.

Scheme of Free Coaching for SC and OBC Students- Announced by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment ,Government of India

We are pleased to announce that,The Jankalyan Kalyan Shiksha Samiti located at Samkalp Bhawan, Plot No 15, Sector 4, R K Puram, Institutional Area, New Delhi 110022 has been approved for the above scheme and a free Coaching Course will start from 25th.June 2017.

Student’s desirous of joining this free coaching for UPSC Civil Services Examination may please note the following for compliance :-

Eligibility Criteria:

a. Qualification (minimum graduation from recognized university)
b .Selection would be through written test & Interview at Samkalp Bhawan R K Puram, New Delhi, as follows:-

i) Written test will be held on 6th May 2017 (Saturday) between 10.00 am to 12.00 noon. Test would be objective type of 100 questions, from last one year’s Current Issues.
ii) Candidates should report at Samkalp Bhawan by 9am on 6th May 2017
iii) On the basis of marks obtained in written Examination ,100 Candidates will appear in interview on 7 th May (Sunday) from 10 AM onwards ,when all original documents will be checked.

C . i) Selected outstation candidates have to report at Samkalp Bhawan. R K Puram , New Delhi latest by 12.00 noon on 23rd June 2017.
ii) Expenses on to and fro travel ,boarding and lodging at New Delhi, have to be borne by the candidates only.

2. Students belonging to SC/OBC, having total family income from all sources of Rupees 6lakhs or less per annum will be eligible for benefits under this scheme. For the purpose income declaration of self employed parents/guardian should be in the form of a certificate issued by Revenue Officer not below the rank of Tehsildar.

Employed parents/guardians should obtain income certificate from their employer, thereafter employed parents/guardians should obtain consolidated certificate from Revenue Officer for any other additional source of income, or give a self declaration if they have no other income other than from employment.
