I think that CSP just check memorizing capability of officer but CSAT will check memorizing & decision making capability of officer. so what is important? All is up to us!!! Think as INDIAN. JAI HIND.

Good decision ... Studying various subjects and the rankin of results r same in previous years. every paper ll b different from another n some may be easy n some may be tough so its a good pattern tat all candidates r qualified based on one new pattern n tat too quantitative aptitude s best . But change in prelims alone won b effective n the commitee must take right decision for change in the mains also. However it ll be digested ly by engg n mgt students n those who r good at maths.

Any guesses as to what percentage of CSAT will be quant based and how much will be bookish n decision making based?

I think it is a welcome move. In the current scenario as an administrator, many situations may arise where the decision needs to be taken in very short or in no time. So, i think the new pattern will test that acpect.

Being an administrator his aptitude should be at the pinnacle . So this is the best way to go through .Thank you .

really,this new format will oepn window for those who are not book-worm.Previous pattern was only for book-worms.This new format will also bring so many atudent s who are not only hard-worker but also have true administrative qualities.I love this format and now i have started my preparation for CSAT-2011
